Launch of From the Farther Shore: Discovering Cape Cod & the Islands Through Poetry

This anthology's 118 contemporary poems meld the outer and interior landscapes of the Cape & Islands so that the reader discovers, as if for the first time, the spirit of a place that calls us home. Not only do these poems converse with one another, they are poems that could not have been written about anywhere else.

The event is free and open to all, but we would appreciate registration in advance so we can plan for the event. All are welcome, but those who are not fully vaccinated are expected to wear masks at all times while in our buildings.

The anthology will be available for purchase at the launch. If you cannot attend, you may purchase your copy(ies) from the Cultural Center gift shop, on-line store (by clicking here), various other on-line vendors, and select Cape and islands gift shops and book stores. The anthology costs $20 plus Massachusetts sales tax of 6.25%.
