DESCRIPTION:The renowned violinist Lindsay Deutsch performs in concert with the Cape Youth Orchestra at Nauset Regional Middle School on November 21 at 7pm.\n\n\n\nDeutsch’s appearance culminates a three-day Artist in Residency program with the Youth Orchestra. In addition to the concert performance\, she will participate in a private rehearsal with Youth Orchestra string students\, and teach a violin master class which is open to the public. Deutsch’s appearance and residency is made possible by a grant from the Classics Alive Youth Orchestra Residency Program\, a program committed to nurturing and supporting youth in their pursuit of musical learning.\n\n\n\nMusical Program for November 21st Concert\n\nThe Cape Youth Orchestra\, conducted by Christopher Schroeder\, will feature Lindsay Deutsch in a performance of “Autumn” from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. The orchestra\, woodwind\, brass\, and string ensembles will also perform works by Mendelssohn\, Mozart\, Bach and more. Ms. Deutsch returns to the stage for a very special encore of “Meditation” from Thaïs by Jules Massenet.\n\n\n\nConcert Time and Location\n\nThe Cape Youth Orchestra in Concert with Soloist Lindsay Deutsch takes place on Saturday\, November 21 at 7pm\, Nauset Regional Middle School\, Orleans.\n\n\n\nTickets\n\nAdults $10\; ages 12 & under free.\n\nTickets are available at the venue.
