Cape Cod will be home to the largest pet festival the peninsula has ever seen when the inaugural “Agway of Cape Cod Paw Palooza” pops up on July 16 and 17\, 2016. Highlighting the two-day extravaganza will be the Cape’s first-ever DockDogs® tournament. DockDogs® is the fastest growing water sport for dogs with sanctioned tournaments taking place from Coast to Coast. In an awe-inspiring display of canine athleticism\, dogs jump from a platform into a 45-foot pool\, competing for distance\, height and speed. And YES\, your dog can compete! In addition to the DockDogs® competition\, Paw Palooza will feature a Frisbee dog show\, K-9 police demos\, an agility ring\, dozens of vendors\, dog-friendly activities and contests\, shopping\, a “Doggie University” tent\, kids activities\, food and SO much more! There will be a suggested $5 donation for entrance into the festival (no charge for kids 12 and under or dogs). Net proceeds from Paw Palooza will benefit The Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Cape Cod animal shelter (located in Brewster) and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ (MSPCA) Cape Cod shelter (located in Centerville).
