Name: Yarmouth Coastal Resiliency Fair & Parker's River Landing Grand Opening
Date: May 2, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
A New Chapter for Our Coast: Parker’s River Landing Grand Opening & Coastal Resiliency Fair Join the Town of Yarmouth on Saturday, May 2, 2026, as we celebrate a transformation years in the making! We are officially opening the gates to Parker’s River Landing—a beautiful haven for wildlife and a resilient new space for our community to enjoy.

Why We’re Celebrating Coastal Resilience: This project is more than just a park; it’s a shining example of how Yarmouth is growing, preparing, and adapting to our changing environment. Formerly the site of the Drive-In Theater, this land has been reimagined into a sustainable ecosystem featuring an elevated boardwalk, restored habitats, and a kayak launch designed to work in harmony with our coastal waters. Come learn from guest speakers and take guided tours to see firsthand how we are protecting our shoreline for generations to come!

Family Fun & Community Festivities:
After the ribbon-cutting, the celebration kicks into high gear with activities for all ages:

- 10:30 AM: Inaugural Ribbon Cutting & Guest Speakers
- Touch-a-Truck: Get up close with town vehicles!
- Kids' Zone: Face painting, games, and kid-friendly entertainment.
- Food Trucks & Craft Vendors: Support local eats and makers.
- Explore: Enjoy the new walking trails, playground, and scenic kayak launch.

Let’s gather on the lawn to celebrate our community’s progress and the bright, resilient future of Parker’s River Landing. We can’t wait to see you there!
