The Yarmouth Port Library Presents The Revolution on Cape Cod & The Islands With Historian David Martin Friday, January 9th, 1:00 PM Historian Dr. David Martin discusses his new book, The Revolutionary War on Cape Cod and the Islands. Created for the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, this new illustrated book brings together often over-looked stories from the period 1761-1783 exploring local battles, privateering, divided loyalties, British shipwrecks that aided the Patriots, contributions of African American and Native American soldiers, and ten influential figures from the region who helped shape this pivotal era.
