The Bruce Abbott/Fred Fried Quartet Performs a Birthday Tribute to Frank Sinatra

In celebration of Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday - December 12, the day of the concert -  the Bruce Abbott/Fred Fried Quartet, led by Bruce Abbott on saxophone and flute and Fred Fried on 8-string guitar, with the great vocalist Marcelle Gauvin, will perform their show “Celebrating Sinatra.”  The show features jazz renditions of Sinatra’s greatest hits from “Fly Me to the Moon” to “Witchcraft” to an exquisite instrumental “In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning” to a blockbuster rendition of “Theme from New York, New York” and many more of Sinatra’s beloved standards. The wonderful vocalist Marcelle Gauvin, as well as the musicians, will give a bit of narrative and anecdotes about Sinatra and the songs as the show progresses.
