Event Description:
Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. Four Thursdays, beginning May 7, from 6-7pm. This class meets online on Zoom. The class confirmation email will contain the Zoom class link. County Louth is named after the village of Louth, which is named after Lugh, a mythological warrior and leader of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Lúnasa, the Irish word for August, is named after him. Drogheda, its main town, was founded in 911 by the Norse Vikings. Join Sean to learn the story of this historically important part of Ireland, from early times through the present.
