Based on the 5 Elements of Nature -- Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water — the practice is a series of slow and gentle movements that combine proper posture, healthy breathing, and mindfulness. It helps us to achieve and maintain health, healing, and vitality, of the body, mind, and spirit. For each of the 5 weeks, our practice will focus on one element and how each one helps with different organs and systems of the body, and emotions of the mind. Allowing ourselves to feel this vital life force energy, with soft flowing movements, helps us to self-heal, leaving us feeling more at peace with ourselves, and with one another.
