In the past 200 years, art music has changed in innumerable ways. In this concert, we present a time line of piano trios, from Beethoven's Opus 1 No. 1, through Arensky's D minor trio, and ending with award-winning living composer Elena Kats Chernin's Calliope Dreaming. About Giocosa Chamber Music: Founded in 2018 by violinist Heather Goodchild Wade and cellist Elizabeth Schultze, Giocosa's mission is to make a meaningful contribution to the vibrant musical community on Cape Cod, while engaging a roster of extraordinary guest artists to join us on the journey. Giocosa's concerts are infused with virtuosity, integrity, and relevance for a modern audience.
